State Government started MLA priority schemes during 2003-04. Three Really New schemes and three ongoing schemes in each sector i.e.Rural Roads & Bridges, Rural Drinking Water Supply and Minor Irrigation were proposed by each Hon’ble MLA for incorporating in the State Budget. From the year 2010-11, State Government has decided to include two MLA priority schemes instead of three in each of the above three sectors. The entire work related to MLA priority schemes is looked after by MLA Division.
